What a week!! We are sorry the difficult decision had to be taken to close both our sites on Thursday and Friday due to the adverse weather conditions – we only ever do this when the safety of our young people and staff is at risk. Thankfully extreme weather like this does not happen very often and we are looking forward to getting back to normal on Monday!
This week we have an update for you on Jeff’s group who have been very busy indeed over the last few weeks. They have really enjoyed their visits to Ability Wheelz at Alexandra Park where Oliver has started riding independently!
Let’s hope we see some more of that lovely sunshine! They have been out and about to their favourite places (yes, that includes McDonalds!)..
..and called into Sainsburys and Asda for a spot of shopping to fill up their snack boxes back at base..
We don’t want to give too much away but the group have also been working hard making Mother’s Day cards and certificates ready for next weekend..
They have enjoyed the dance sessions on a Thursday with Harriet, with everybody getting down to ‘We will rock you’..
..and they’ve still found time to relax..
We hope you have a wonderful (and warmer) week!
