This week Ofsted and the CQC are carrying out a Local Area Inspection into the effectiveness of Oldham in identifying, assessing, meeting the needs of and improving outcomes for children and young people who have special educational needs and/or disabilities aged up to 25 years old.

You should be aware that a Local Area Inspection of the effectiveness of Special Educational Needs and Disability in Oldham is currently taking place Monday 2nd – Friday 6th October.
The inspection has, so far, included a webinar to allow Oldham parents and carers of children with special educational needs and/or disabilities to contribute, which took place on Tuesday, 3rd October 2017.
An additional opportunity for children and young people with SEND and their parents/carers has been made available to contribute your views through an online survey. Your views are vitally important and we would encourage you to participate using the below link before close of play, Thursday 5 October 2017:
