Our young people have had another busy week at Horizons. Hayley W’s group at Medtia have really enjoyed getting out and about, visiting Abilty Wheelz..

..and using public transport..

They’ve walked over to the library where James had a great time playing with the Lego..

..and Elizabeth chose her own books to read..

Bradley has been out shopping and helped pick some ingredients for cooking on Thursdays..

He also joined in with Shelley’s group to make toast with beans and eggs..

They also found time for plenty of fun back at the centre..

Hayley B’s group at the Learning Centre have had a great time too, making the most of the sun last week and still getting out and about this week in the rain. They enjoyed a lovely trip to Touchstones..

Back at the Learning Centre they’ve been busy baking..

..making music..

.. and have enjoyed some water sensory, art, visits to Ability Wheelz and lots more fun activities. While having a tidy up outside they even found a newt and named him Nigel..

You’ll be pleased to hear that Nigel has now been moved to a safe place where he can live happily!

Emma’s group have been cooking up a storm again..

They had a great time at Gallery Oldham..

..and discovered the lego at the library..

They enjoyed their energetic dance session..

..and helped Daniel celebrate his 21st birthday..

We hope you have a lovely week!
