Our young people have had another wonderful week at Horizons! Hayley’s group have been very busy, they have been doing lots of baking..
..visited Ability Wheelz and been out on some nice walks around the local area..
Even the snow didn’t stop them!
They have enjoyed some rebound therapy and visited Medtia for dance classes and they have been busy with their Art work, both the messy kind..
..and making pictures on the large touch screen..
They even managed to find some time to relax a little (well, rollercoasters might not be everyone’s idea of relaxation)..
Shelley’s group have had another busy week working on their life skills, learning money skills and shopping for ingredients..
..before the fun part, cooking! The group’s masterpiece this week was ‘pitta pizzas’ which were enjoyed by all!
Emma’s group have also enjoyed their cooking sessions, rustling up some very tasty jacket potatoes this week..
The end results didn’t last long!
They finished the week with the grand finale of their pool tournament – it was between Usman and Callum, with Alex as referee to make sure it was a fair competition!
It was a closely fought match but Callum emerged the winner..
..and was delighted with his prize..
Afetr all that excitement, the group had a nice relaxing end to Friday..
We hope you have a wonderful week!
