The young people at Horizons have been having a wonderful time! Shelley’s group have been enjoying all their usual sessions and not letting the cold weather stop them, going bike riding at Ability Wheelz..
..and visiting Waterhead Park..
They had a shopping trip to Middleton to buy Valentines cards..
They have been working on their life skills, following a budget, planning their meals, shopping and cooking..
..and even washing up!
They managed to make Shrove Tuesday last for 2 weeks, starting with savoury pancakes a week early before making sweet ones on the day itself (we need to remember that for next year!)..
Emma’s group have also been busy making their own fruit smmothies..
..and some delicious cheese toasties..
They’ve worked hard on the trolley run at First Choice Homes..
They’ve also been swimming..
..discovered a passion for Uno..
..and made sure Chinese New Year and Valentines Day didn’t go by without a celebration..
The hats have also been back out again for their rather popular dance session..
..before winding down and relaxing with ‘Film Friday’ to finish off a very hectic week..
We hope you have a wonderful week!
