The young people have had another great week at Horizons. Jeff’s group have been busy out in the community, starting with a trip on the tram to visit Manchester City Centre..

..stopping off at St. Anne’s Square..

..King Street..

..and The Google Garage..

..before nipping into the Arndale for a pit stop..

..and then heading back to Horizons on the tram..

During the week the group went on another trip to Kingsway Morrisons, with some of the Emma’s group joining in on the fun..

They still had time to fit in a few jobs around Horizons with some hardy helpers volunteering – we’re sure once the warmer Spring weather makes an appearance, the group will be growing with more young people wanting to help out..

Hayley’s group at Medtia Square have been busy too, with Elizabeth picking some potatoes from Oldham market for a cooking session..

..before bringing the shopping back and carefully cutting the carrots to make vegetable soup..

Bradley sorted out the dessert with some very impressive banana splits..

Maryium has been showing us how to care for a baby..

..while Sabrina enjoyed her trip to Sainsbury’s café for a brew before having a good look round the store..

Ellis had a very relaxing Sherbourne session..

Emma’s Monday swim group have started going to Royton (where we’re reliably informed the water is lovely and warm and the staff are wonderful!) – not only are they enjoying their swimming sessions, they can now fit in some travel training on the way..

They have welcomed yet another new member to the trolley run team at First Choice Homes – well done, Lyndsay!

We hope you have a wonderful week!
