Jeff’s group have been keeping very busy, both out in the community where their regular Ability Wheelz sessions are always enjoyed by everyone..

..and their favourite haunt, Costa Coffee, for a hot chocolate with friends..

They’ve been off on the tram and bus to Hollywood Bowl in Ashton for a few games..

..followed, naturally, by the usual pit stop at McDonalds..

The group really enjoyed their trip into Manchester, taking in the city centre sights..

..before stopping at Selfridges to look at the Christmas decorations..

‘Let it snow, let it snow…’ – can you tell they are already excited about their visit to the Christmas markets and the Trafford Centre coming up soon, but Halloween first! The group have also had fun with their favourite dance sessions with their dance instructors and all their Horizons friends..

..and of course they made time for a little relaxing too..

Hayley’s group have had a great week, they have been baking pizza and banana cakes..

..getting musical..

..and carving their pumpkins, exploring their senses, especially smell and touch..

They have been getting creative, making Halloween pictures (John really enjoyed this activity!)..

..while also enjoying a catch up with their Medtia friends at Ability Wheelz and a visit to join in their dance session..

Shelley’s group have had a great time getting ready for Halloween, they went to buy their essential ingredients..

..before getting ‘stuck in’..

They have also enjoyed painting ‘Day of the Dead’ decorations in time for Halloween..

Gary’s group were delighted to welcome a new group from ‘The Challenge’ to Horizons. The first session was for getting to know each other and they had a fantastic time playing a few games and chatting as you can see here before their next session on anti-bullying which we’re sure will prove to be just as much fun!

We’re really pleased to be working the NCS programme once again, watch this space for more news soon.

We hope you have a lovely weekend!
