Hayley’s group have had a great week at Horizons getting into the swing of Autumn and Halloween, they have been out collecting leaves to make leaf print pictures..

..and started making Halloween decorations..

As usual, baking has featured prominently and the group have enjoyed baking egg custard tarts..

..and cheesecake!

The group had a nice walk out to the local café and a visit to Alexandra Park for Ability Wheelz where they met up with a few young people from the other groups and cycled around the grounds..

They have also enjoyed some person centred activities, a pamper afternoon and had a lot of fun with their music session..

We’ve managed to find proof of the lovely cakes that were on offer at coffee morning..

..before John arrived!!

We think they should have made sure Lauren was there to supervise, as she did a fantastic job at the Medtia Square coffee morning..

Gary’s group have been learning about health and safety in the workplace..

..and are busy getting ready for Halloween..

Jeff’s group have been out and about as usual – to the museum to check out the new exhibits..

..to Alexandra Park to soak up the sunshine..

..and to Ikea on public transport (where they just happened to come across the café……)

They fitted in another trip into Oldham..

..some dancing..

..and made time for some fun and relaxation..

The Horizons dance sessions are very popular with all the groups..

Shelley’s group are continuing to work on their awareness of road safety on their trips into the community..

..and thoroughly enjoyed preparing a very tasty snack with what they had bought..

The library is definitely a favourite place to visit..

We hope you have a lovely weekend!
