It’s been another busy week in the community for Jeff’s group, they’ve had their usual outing to Ability Wheelz, making the most of the dry spell at the park..
..before calling in to watch their friends swim for a few minutes before setting off to Oldham Town Centre..
The group enjoyed another outing on the Metrolink to Manchester, stopping off at the Football Museum..
..before nipping into Starbucks next to the museum for a brew..
They then headed back to Horizons for a spot of DIY, helping to keep the site tidy for people to enjoy sitting in the sun on the benches outside Medita..
Gary’s group had a lovely time helping Mollie celebrate her birthday last week..
Their craft group have been busy painting plaster cast pots up in readiness for (whisper it….) Christmas – according to Gary it’s never too early to start preparations..
Callum has also now mastered the essential life skill of opening a tin of Spaghetti Bolognese with a manual can opener! A very useful skill to have..
Shelley and Emma’s groups have been equally busy, with visits to the local park to soak up the Autumn sunshine..
There’s also been lots of cooking..
..dancing and sensory music..
The young people have enjoyed trips out to the café..
..and a rather competitive session at Hollywood Bowl in Ashton..
We hope you have a lovely weekend!
