Another busy week for the young people at Horizons! Hayley’s group have been getting creative, making a new wall display for the room..

They have visited Ability Wheelz, enjoyed some Sherborne and relaxation..

..and had fun making plenty of noise in their music sessions!

They enjoyed their trip to the local café and had a great day out to the Sea Life Centre at the Trafford Centre where they discovered lots of different sea creatures, touched the star fish and had lunch in the food court..

Shelley’s group have been busy too, fitting in lots of different activities from community access to swimming, shopping, cooking and Ability Wheelz..

All the young people sampled a Sherbourne session which they loved..

They finished the week off with a birthday party and lots of dancing..

Gary’s employability group are very excited to have started their new work placements at the Atrium Café this week with the support of the Future Finders job coaches. They now have three sessions a week set up and the first group did a fantastic job..

They have also carried on with their work on the artist Jackson Pollock and are busy adjusting a Jackson Pollock piece to reflect a Stone Roses album cover..

We will show you the finished article as soon as they’ve completed it!

Invitations are going home to our Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 29th September at both Medtia Square and the Learning Centre – we hope you will be able to join us!

Have a lovely weekend.
