Another busy week at Horizons! Hayley’s group have been getting up to all sorts as usual and have had lots of fun baking..

They enjoyed a trip to the café..

..and a visit to Portland Basin..

They really enjoyed their sensory music and relaxation sessions..

..and once again got hold of that foam!

Emma’s group have managed to dodge the rain out and about in Oldham..

..as have Jeff’s group who never let the weather get in the way of their activities. They tried out some new helmets at Ability Wheelz..

..and made sure to take a couple of footballs along for a quick game..

Naturally they rounded off their visit by calling into the Boat House café for refreshments..

The group had a great time at Hollywood Bowl along with our new members..

..before finishing the week off with a spot of maintenance work..

Gary’s group were delighted to welcome back their new friends from the NCS programme. After a very enjoyable drama workshop last time the group visited (which you can find out more about here if you missed it), this week they joined our young people in an Art project celebrating Oldham’s heritage. As you can see, everyone had a wonderful time..

We’re very pleased to be working with the NCS programme again this year and you can read more about their work in Oldham in this article from the Oldham Chronicle.

Shelley’s group have also been very busy and even managed to find some (fleeting) sunshine this week!

They’ve enjoyed making their own healthy wraps..

..and had fun with their sensory sessions..

Have a lovely weekend!
