Well, after a lovely bank holiday weekend we have crammed lots in to the last 4 days!
Hayley’s group have been having a wonderful time and they particularly enjoyed their visit to Cockfields Farm. They got to hold and feed a variety of animals. They particularly enjoyed feeding the baby lambs!
They have also been enjoying their music sessions where they have been listening to calm music whilst watching bubbles float above..
The group continue to be creative, both through their messy mark making and their Spring pictures..
As always the group continue to enjoy their weekly trip to Alexandra Park..
They’ve also had fun getting involved with the interactive stories on the big screen..
I’d like to congratulate Hayley as she was the first winner of the New Bridge Lottery – well done! If you’ve not yet signed up to our weekly draw, you can click here to find out more.
Jeff’s group have been out and about in the community enjoying the sunshine as you can see..
Gary’s group have enjoyed a visit to Alexandra Park too..
..and they have also been on the tram this week to visit Bury Market (I’m still waiting for my black pudding to be delivered!)..
Our job coaches Maria and our new recruit Genna have been very busy supporting our young people on placements both at The Atrium café and at placements across Oldham. A special well done this week to Sufyaan who is now working at the ‘BIG TESCO’! Sufyaan has made a huge impression there and is doing a wonderful job, he even chose to go to work this week over going on a trip with his class – that is dedication for you! Well done Sufyaan.
Next week we will be introducing our new ‘Worker of the Week’ award to celebrate our young people’s successes on placement. Until then, have a wonderful weekend in the sun!
