Our young people have had a brilliant week at Horizons! There has been more than a hint of Halloween in the air and the young people have been working hard on their pumpkins, especially David’s group..

Just look at their finished lanterns!

There was certainly plenty of cleaning up to do afterwards..

..and they’ve even been tidying up outside too..

The group have enjoyed getting out and about as usual..

..and also had plenty of fun back in the centre where they helped Yvonne celebrate her birthday..

The young people have also been looking at Remembrance Day..

..and Shelley’s group have created a special display to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War..

Hayley’s group have also been getting in on the Halloween fun with a visit to Cockfields Farm for a spot of pumpkin picking with some of their friends from Horizons – as you can see, they had a brilliant time, not only hunting out the best pumpkins..

..but getting up close to the animals..

Back at Horizons they have thoroughly enjoyed getting creative with designing their pumpkins and making their room Halloween ready..

They’ve had lots of fun getting messy and investigating in pumpkin mess, beans, water and foam (you name it!!)..

..and still found enough energy for their dance sessions (especially the Halloween one!)..

..swimming, joining in activities and outings with the other groups including the trip into Manchester, visiting the shops, walks around the local parks and, of course, the ever popular Ability Wheelz..

We told you they’d had fun!!
